Domaine Anna Restaurant

this is one of the best Resto we have around here in Mauritius...
everything was excellent...had a birthday party there, and it went on to be a memorable one with all the nice foods being served...
very highly recommended...

Zub Express Restaurant

Last year my boyfriend and I went to Zub Express after a day at the seaside. I had been there previously with my family and had had an average experience. Before moving to the top floor for dinner, I chose to visit the restroom to wash my hands and attend nature's call. I was shocked by the dirtiness of the toilet!

2 minutes) than the waiter asked us if he could take our orders.
We answered that we had not decided yet and would need some more minutes. On that he replied "Pas dire mo pan vine prend zot commande apres" in a condescending tone and walked away.

This really put us off. My boyfriend rested his elbow on the table, asking what we should do. The table top then rose under the pressure from his elbow. It turned out the table was just a plywood placed on a base, with no rivetting at all.

We both agreed it was too much for a day and left the restaurant.

La Madrague

Good restaurant and I am a regular customer, but the fact that I never know if the restaurant is opened for lunch or booked for a function is making me and my friends going less often, and may be stop going.

We a group of retired couples eat out saturdays and sundays every week. The choices in the region are very good but we were loyal to la Madrague because of the...

atmosphere and one of us lives just besides on the tamarin Beach and is a member of the golf club.
We think that if the restaurant is opened to the public some way or the other the public must be informed if the restaurant closes for a function or serves just light meals and snacks. It happened again last saturday.

Beach House Restaurant and Bar

Great location. Appalling service.

It's a shame that a bar with such potential is such an irritating experience. I've gone several times for the location, on the beach with a view of Grand Baie, and with the hope that things will improve but each time I come away annoyed.

Service is slow and indifferent. I don't think I've been charged correctly yet so...

you have to wonder what's going on behind the bar. Or not, as I've seen staff fighting, drinking and making out instead of serving. A senior staff member imposed a mandatory tip on one occasion even though she was too busy with her boyfriend to provide service. To add insult to injury we were shortchanged on the drinks we ordered.

Always an aggravating experience, not what you're looking for on a night out.
