Cela m’est souvent arrivé de faire un saut chez Ah Youn pour le déjeuner ou pour diner. Je suis ahuri de constater qu’a chaque fois il y a des erreurs sur la note. Vous ne prenez pas de bière et on vous facture 2 cannettes de bière. Cela peut se passer également avec le menu. i consommé que des boulettes, riz frit etc. Erreur ou action intentionnée ? Que se passe-t-il si nous n’avez pas le reflexe de vérifier la note ? Je sympathise avec les touristes qui doivent faire face à cette action qui frôle la malhonnêteté. Les excuses ne sont, en outre, pas la devise de la direction. Au menu vous avez l'arrogance des gérants plutot ! Ce qui pousse a avouer que Comme quoi, l'étiquette ne doit pas être plus grosse que le sac……….A bon entendeur …Salut !

Amigo Restaurant

Nous avons découvert virtuellement ce restaurant via le site restaurant.mu, comme nous recherchions un restaurant pour le réveillon du 24 décembre j'ai donc contacté par mail le restaurant depuis la Réunion dans un premier temps. La dame a répondu à toutes mes questions, m'a envoyé les menus par mail et c'est comme ça que nous avons atterri dans ce restaura...

nt très atypique pour le réveillon. Nous étions en groupe( 12 personnes) et lors d'un passage devant le restaurant quelques jours avant certains d'entre nous je vous avoue n'étaient pas rassuré: il est vrai que lorsque l'on ne connait pas l'histoire de ce restaurant, il peut paraître de prime abord un peu déroutant avec tous ces textes écrits sur les murs, mais les voyageurs ne tarissant pas d'éloge nous avons maintenu notre réservation! Le réveillon venu nous arrivons au restaurant et là super accueil!, une table joliment présentée et en prime un guitariste et une chanteuse pour animer la soirée! Nous avons dégusté le repas, le gratin de fruit de mer un délice pour les papilles, les moules gratinée quel plaisir, les camarons géants et langoustes un délice sans oublier les coktails et desserts!!J'en bave rien que d'y repenser!C'est le restaurant qui nous a le plus marquer lors de ce voyage et c'est une adresse que nous garderons précieusement pour nos prochains voyages!Allez-y les yeux fermés!

Malibu Spur Steak House Restaurant

Nous avons mangé un midi à 12 personnes, les repas étaient excellents et le service très rapide!! Nous recommandons!

Broadway Restaurant

Nice restaurant with a cozy setting in the middle of the capital. I use to go there for lunch - The food is good, mostly the Wok dishes as well as the steak! Good price/quality!

Will definitely go back.

Le Pekinois Restaurant, Ng Cheong

We went there with a group of friends before the new year and we were really positively surprised to find such an excellent restaurant in Rose Hill! The Hotstone is a MUST - We enjoyed having to cook our own meat, it was an astonishing good experience! Overall rating for the food is excellent!
The service was also excellent, same for the cozy atmosphere!
We definitely will go back :)

Talking Drums Flame Grill

Usually on my birthday, my husband and I usually have dinner at Spur. But this time, we decided to change and try Talking Drums, because it sounded like a good restaurant: good food, good service and good ambiance! But oh, we were really disappointed!

We made a reservation and the lady on the phone told us there would be a buffet. When we got there, no sign of the buffet...

and the waiter told us we were mistaken and must have spoken to the wrong person! But hey, we called on the number displayed on this website, so if we have talked to a person who did not have the correct information, who's at fault?! So after hearing our complaint, the restaurant owner offered us a starter: Duck Foie Gras. That was a nice gesture and we settled down and thought the rest of the dinner would be better.

Time to order and I ordered a 300 gms steak which was served with sauteed vegetables and mushroom risotto, and my husband ordered a 350 gms steak with sauteed potatoes; he expressly told the waiter that he was allergic to dairy products.

When our food came 30 minutes later, the plate I was served had no sign of the mushroom risotto. On my husband's plate, instead of the sauteed potatoes, there was 2 potatoes in foil with a big splash of cream! When we questionned the waiter, he had no idea what our order was (because it was not the same waiter who had taken our order!). When the waiter who took our order came, he told me that for my order, it was either sauteed vegetables OR mushroom risotto! And he tried to convince my husband that the cream was in fact mayonnaise! Furthermore, he could not explain how my 300 gms steak was twice the size of my husband's 350 gms steak!

My husband was really upset because since we got there, service was really mediocre! We asked the waiter to give us the bill so that we could leave. We got the bill for the drinks and when we were leaving, we explained to the restaurant supervisor that since we came, the service was really bad. And do you know, what he told us? That he wanted us to leave now! What kind of restaurant is that??? You get mediocre service and when you complain, they tell you they want you to leave?! Not even a word of apology?!

We shall nevet set foot in that restaurant again and we cannot also pass over it before communicating on why Talking Drums messed up what was supposed to be pleasant evening - to ensure other couples/families do not have similar situations.

So here's 3 reasons not to go to Talking Drums:

- Their service is mediocre/amateur; they could not even advise on their menu and the waiters seem to have no knowledge on the food they serve.
- They have no sense of customer service and organisation, despite the restaurant was far from full.
- All this coupled with their high prices - Apparently apart from the owner, none of the other workers envision to provide a premium service to the level of the pricing on the menu.

We ended up having dinner at Spur wishing we had never changed our routine.

Xia Restaurant

the dim sum is a bit expensive ( mauritius living standard ) , avg rupees 80, but well worth the price. I especially love the congee ( rice porridge ) .

the service is kind but unfortunately on the slow side. it just opened recently, hopefully, things will improve.

Broadway Restaurant

The setting is very nicely decorated with a great atmosphere. The lady in charge is helpful and service is good. The menu du jour always good and food quality excellent. I go there at least twice a week and will not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Amigo Restaurant

We had an excellent family time at the restaurent. The Kids had their special attention, which was great and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The Lobster arrived to the table as a star on a trolley and when coked it was just amazingly juicy -++++ the pluses the seafood are not soaked in the sauce but left to the dinners to choice and use. The culmination was a ceremonial Banane...

Flambee - which was amazing to see but was also delicious. Thanks guys for making us feeling special.

The bill including the fine wine was surprisingly very reasonable for the quality. A definite place to revisit again and again.
