Als je goed, leuk en mooi wilt lunchen: ga naar Le Chamarel. Wat zit je daar mooi. Perfecte service, normale prijzen en prima kwaliteit!

Excellent petit restaurant, qui, une fois n'est pas coutume, se décarcasse pour faire de la cuisine Mauricienne abordable et recherchée, loin des clichés habituels. Le service est par ailleurs extraordinaire, la serveuse/co-gérante étant gentille et compétente.

Great place and atmosphere. The restaurant setup makes you feel like you are having lunch at a relative`s place rather than in a restaurant. So the mood is very casual and relaxed.

There`s a buffet on saturdays and its quite expensive per person but you can help yourself to any amount you like. So be sure to go there on an empty stomach if you feel like taking the buffet.

Le Bois Chéri Restaurant (Le Bois Cheri Restaurant)

Just great!
I was there last year and huge transformation has been done since.
The restaurant is fully air condition, the paint has changed so nicely, toilets are very clean and service and food is wonderful.
The new menu is just great and very affordable for local people and tourists.
People must not get trap with the M restaurant find at the entry of bois cheri tea estate..

the food, service was just excellent, higher than my expectations. I have been in various five-class restaurants but this one is just fantastics.
Highly recommended (the fees are very reasonable)

On two consecutive sundays i was juped by the delivery staffs.After the drive thru and reaching home,i was surprised that i did not received one Mc Spicy Chicken burger and 6 Nugggets respectively.
I think that the staffs on delivery are not attentive at all i highly recommend to check your meal before leaving the pick up point.

Comlone Restaurant (Red Lobster)

We heard a lot about this place so we went in a big group for a fun outing. But what a disaster it was ! The service was so poor and slow. The steamed fish was overcooked and had to be sent back. The chicken and prawns had no taste at all. The rice and noodles arrived 20 minutes after the other dishes !!! The only positive are the prices and the location. The waiters certainly need to be trained.

I've previously had nothing but excellent reviews for this restaurant but last night I had one of the worst dining experiences in Mauritius. The service was disgusting and the food even worse. Went there for lunch. Second time visiting it. However, first time been to the newly located, renovated and splendidly refurbished restaurant.....amazed by the new set up...as usual service was impeccable and enjoyed out the indian food. surely one the best indian food restaurant in Mauritius worth to revisit again and recommended to many lovers of such food.
