Ocean Basket

It pays to complain if your complaint is reasonable and fair.Further to my previous review posted a few weeks ago i have to say that ocean basket has gone up in my estimations. I was contacted by the manager by email and offered a free sushi platter and drinks for when i next visited. I went last weekend and the sushi platter was EXCELLENT, best ive eaten on the island.Thanks...

We were a large group and this seemed to confuse the waiter slightly, as there was not enough cutlery etc,they did provide a baby chair though.. anyway we ordered finally and the food did arrive in good time. The fish was ALL fried though, which was unfortunate as apparently they can GRILL the fish, they need to ask customers how they would like their fish to be cooked...

surely?, after all they are a fish/seafood specialist. we would have ordered dessert but at 150rps for an ice cream its far too expensive! Service needs to be improved as we had to ask for everything, from tomato sauce to chilli sauce etc. We would have tried the sushi but was not sure how good it would be anyone tried it??.. Prawns were the highlight of the meal succulent and creamy delicious!

Ocean Basket is the best Resto Ive ever been..N Ive visited a lot! .. customer service is great... I went there for a special occasion n it was a so pleasant moment..well actually what I found the main negative part is the fact that reservations are not possible.. :/ but ANW!! I liked the food there, my seat was great..and no fish odour!.. thumbs up! I surely will go again!

Ok i know its seafood restaurant but seriously the smell of fish when sitting inside is very (too) overpowering.
Also i have had better fish at my own place for the price of the meal i expected the fish to be better even the calamaris were a bit bland had to load it up with chilli to make it go down.
