Le Sultan Restaurant lounge

The setting is quite nice but is on a very busy street, so good luck in finding a parking spot in the middle of the city! The food was just ok but is far from being lebanese cuisine. The waitress was friendly but not really helpful in helping us pick the dishes. Overall, I think this restaurant is expensive - you'll be paying more for the nice decor than good food.

went there with my wife,service not good at all.below standard.ordered lamb and got something minced which did not taste like lamb at all.ordered aubergine but got potatoes salads instead.food too expensive and bad service.a total waste of money and time.the owners are looking to make easy money.restaurant is good for politicians only who want bad foods since the bill is paid out from petty cash box.....dont ever go there....total loss

Went there in May to discover Lebanese cuisine and it was a real disappointment. It is expensive and service is really poor with the staff barely communicating on the menu or making suggestions. My friend ordered a grill and got two "brochettes" instead which tasted more like minced meat. I ordered the lamb meal which turned out to be rice, an lamb shank out from the...

oven and a tomato sauce. The setup is nice and dessert was up to mark at least. In fairness, for such type of cusines and discoveries, I am ready to pay the price, but the food quality and service was not I was expecting.

Been there twice.
Very good food...loved the tagine.
Private lounge is amazing ,dont feel we are in Port Louis.
The missing thing is a belly dancer!
Service was very fast the gentleman dressed in typical arab outfit was very helpful.

Extremely disappointing restaurant.
Great atmosphere and ne set up.

However food is very very average, and bland. Staff can barely communicate with customers and seem not to give a damn.

Prices and VAT exclusive, not mentioned anywhere, thus surprise on final bill.

Generally, the foods are tasty, colorful and healthy. The portion sizes for the starters are fair however for the main course is limited. I expected more from a mix grill. The lamb kebab was deceiving, as there was no real taste of the lamb. I have had Lebanese food in London and therefore I was expecting more in terms of quantity and quality (especially for the lamb). However...

I would encourage these new concepts, so that we, Mauritians, have the chance to discover cuisines from around the globe. The restaurant is new; I hope they improve with experience.
