il vient de se refaire une beaute,et maintenant toutes les tables beneficient de la terrasse.
Francois le proprietaire anime depuis plusieurs annees ce lieu qui est convivial et sympatique.
on y vient en toute decontraction en famille, en couple, entres amis ...voila le principe
la cuisine italienne est de mise et les prix ne sont pas excessifs.
le personnel en salle est attentif et souriant
on y passe une tres bonne soiree

person who don't know what is food and a real pizza with real ingredient, he should go to pizza hut and try to make the difference. We are the same team since 10 years with real professional people, make the difference between the other restaurant, with the price , with the service that we give. I travel all around the world, but there is people who pretend to be cook in less than 2 months, so please stop writing stupidity when you don't know"

I am almost certain that Don Camilio uses pre-made pizza crusts. The crust was a horrible, dense, foamy bread. I say foamy because if the crust was poked with a fork, the holes would close up and appear that it was never stabbed. opping slid right off the crust. Sometimes this happens if there is too much sauce on a pizza, but there was actually very little sauce on this pie. It’s hard to tell exactly how much sauce the pizza started out with though because a lot of it got absorbed into the crust, making it kind of soggy. Perhaps this soggy crust couldn’t provide a proper surface for the cheese to adhere itself to.
Whatever caused the flaws with this pizza, it was totally unacceptable from what was recommended as the “good Italian restaurant.” I’ve had better pizzas than this pie from the frozen food section at the Supermarket.

Since 1999 this restaurant is the institution in Grand-Baie, no surprise, and a good value for money. Since 1 month the restaurant has been totally renovated, have a look because it's a nice atmosphere.

It has got a relaxed, friendly vibe where families and friends meet in a happy atmosphere. Crowd is usually a mix of lovals, expats, tourists.
The service is good and friendly, the food is honest, not pretentious nor over priced and in sufficient quantities.

wines. The food is allright but lacking a certain rafinesse. This restaurant does profit from its location, price and atmosphere not from quality or composition of food. In my opinion you have better price/value at other pizza places but atmosphere and location with the possibility of sneaking by the bar next door make it a place for having a nice dinner.

I would like to say that the food and atmosphere at this restaurant was truly wonderful. the waiters are also superb at serving and allowing you to still feel that Mauritian atmosphere even though they serve Italian food. I would go back and i would recommend friends. They should maintain their prices as this is what the locals need.
