Cafe De La Plage

Situated on the coastal drive at Flic-en-Flac, this restaurant has a nice aspect out through the trees onto the beach.

Looks a bit like a pub rather than a restaurant, with quirky furniture and a large prominent bar. Don't let that deceive you, it's pretty good.

entertainment from a pair of singers in the corner. All very pleasant.

Service is polite and efficient.

My only criticism of the food was that they forgot to bring us any bread, and the sauce on my calamar was a bit sweet, a sort of chinese style sweet and sour, rather than what was described. Still very nice, and my other half enjoyed her steak.

I have friends who eat here on a regular basis when they are around, so it is consistently pretty good.
